My name is Reese, and I have been the "face" behind Palmetto State Bulldogs for a little over 5 years now. I stumbled into breeding simply because I LOVE English Bulldogs so much and I wanted to share that love along with happy, healthy English Bulldog puppies, that were also raised in an environment that were adored from the moment that they were born. I wanted the families that decided to get one of our babies to know, without a shadow of a doubt that their baby was loved, played with, cuddled, and raised for those 8-10 weeks like MY very own puppy. Knowing that we went above and beyond with each and every single litter, and that in some ways, I hope we stood out from the rest. I wanted each family to know that we not only cared about their new furry family member, but that I cared about THEM too. Over the years, I have still kept in touch with many of our families, with the "pup" date pics they send me, random questions they still ask over the years, or the Bulldog Instagram pages that I follow. It's meant a lot to me. But I have come to realize that it is time to close those doors on that season. Although I still have families reaching out, inquiring about upcoming litters, and we still have people asking to be on a waiting list, I have realized that time is going by way too quickly. My three beautiful and amazing children who have always been our biggest helpers with each litter are growing up so fast, and our oldest has now left for college. Soon I'll have another senior in high school and the youngest not far behind. Also, after being a nurse for almost 18 years and taking a long break to raise my children, I have also decided to step back into nursing, but now as a forensic nurse, working with victims of human trafficking, abuse, and domestic violence. An honor and privilege to walk alongside these patients and their families in this new season I have been called into.
Being a part of so many peoples English Bulldog journeys has been another honor and privilege. I have loved all of the families and people that I have met along the way.
Thank you for trusting us and wanting us to be a part of it all. I could not have done it without my amazing husband and kids, and their unending support for me and this crazy idea I had 5 years ago.
What a ride

From the moment our bulldog puppies came into the world, they were loved so much. For us, it was about healthy, quality puppies. We dedicated all of our time and expertise to each litter; focusing on important developmental milestones, adequate nutrition and healthy transitioning from incubator to play yard, and all puppy pen set-ups in between. PS~many of our puppies were even litter trained by 5 weeks of age!!
What a wonderful experience it all was.
It has been an honor being a part of your bulldog journey. Thank you for trusting our family and letting us become a part of yours.
We took pride in every aspect of what we did. Our puppy packs go above and beyond, and included AKC Registration Papers, blankets they slept on with their siblings, jewelry and/or accessories worn in their photo shoots, their photos from the shoot, information about being a responsible bulldog owner, and much, much MORE!
Transparency is SO important to us! When seeking out a responsible English Bulldog breeder, request a copy of their contract for your review. (Ours had a ton of information in it about owning bulldogs, our health guarantee, and our personal food/bathing preferences & recommendations....and so much more!)
